Bullying is not just a childhood or adolescent experience. It takes place in senior centers, senior residences, and other community settings, resulting in deeply negative effects on older adults. This seminar provides a setting for seniors, caregivers,and family members to understand peer-to-peer bullying and other antagonistic behaviors among older adults. We will explore the characteristics and effects of bullying among older adults and provide the knowledge and tools to recognize bullying and develop constructive ways to intervene and prevent it.
