MORNING FRESH DAIRY FARM TOUR - 18023

We will enjoy a guided tour, where friendly and knowledgeable staff share the history of the farm, its sustainable practices, and learn about local farming and its impact in the community. We will get to meet the cows that make your milk. We will also enjoy samples of their flavored milk and Noosa yoghurt.

Mother Cabrini Shrine, located beyond the foothills of Golden, Colorado was established by St. Frances Xavier Cabrini for the purpose of providing a peaceful summer atmosphere for orphan children. Let’s head to Golden for a tour of the Shrine and see all its wonders. You will have about 1.5 hours to wander the grounds on your own before lunch which will be served at noon on-site. The bus will leave at 1:15pm to head back to the senior center. The lunch menu is TBD and typically served buffet style. There are many steps at the Shrine, be prepared for walking. This is not a mechanical inspection or driving test. American Mah Jongg is an ancient Chinese game of skill, strategy, and luck brought to the west in the early 1920s. Gain a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the game components: the tiles, the card, the mechanics of the game, and general strategies.

Participants should bring in $7.50 materials fee to the first class.

ADVANCED BEGINNER GUIDED BRIDGE: USING TWO OVER ONE - 28109

Opportunity for advanced beginner bridge players to practice in a low stress environment with guided instruction. This is for players who have taken the Bridge the Gap class in Louisville or who have played bridge for awhile and have recently learned the Two over One Game Force system of bidding. Hands will be selected from recent games and played at each table. Interesting hands can be discussed as a group with emphasis on the Two Over One bidding. Instructor: Anita Estey.
